Piper was sitting outside, enjoying quiet Sunday. Since it had been raining off and on, she stayed up on the porch. Matthew was asleep in his babyseat, unaware of the rain.
There wasn't much to complain about at the moment.
As Piper sat outside on the front steps, she was eying one of the houses across the street. She had been thinking about getting her own place. She was going to need that extra room after all, especially now that the adoption was close to being finalized

Piper had been doing a lot of thinking over the last few days. A lot. All that thinking had led her to a decision, and she was ready to talk to Meg and Sam about that. So she invited them over to the house.

She'd had the same stomach discomfort she had a few weeks ago, only it seemed a little worse this time. There was also the exhaustion she'd been feeling. She didn't even quite enjoy Thanksgiving because of it. At least she had much
